Young Living Percheron Exhibition

Our community of wellness started small in 1993, when Young Living Founder D. Gary Young developed his first organic herb farming and distillation operation. At the time, Gary had already discovered the incredible power of essential oils, but because the quality of available oils varied so greatly, he’d been unable to fully harness their potential.

After establishing Young Living in 1994, Gary married his co-founder Mary, who is now CEO of Young Living Essential Oils. The Youngs developed more farmland in Utah and Idaho and began cultivating lavender, peppermint, melissa, clary sage, and many other herbs.

Their previous experiences in the direct selling industry enabled the Youngs to fulfill their vision and establish a movement that would empower its members to share truly pure essential oils with the world.

Fueled by a growing demand for top-quality essential oils, Young Living developed its groundbreaking Seed to Seal® program, which ensures that with every targeted supplement, every skin care solution, and every pure essential oil and blend we offer, our members are enjoying the benefits of our global resources, industry leadership, and decades of innovation. The result? A pristine final product created with conscientious Sourcing, Science, and Standards.

Young Living is the long-established, industry-leading company in the production of essential oils. Through the proprietary Seed to Seal production process, Young Living is committed to providing pure, powerful products for every family and lifestyle, all infused with the life-changing benefits of our pure essential oils.

The driver of the Young Living Percheron horses is Jason Goodman.

Lead horses are Huey and Rocket.

Swing horses are Elk and Cyclone.

Wheel horses are Tuff and Jag.

Jason will move the horses into a couple of figure eights.

In the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, teams such as this were used to transport freight. The teamsters used voice commands and pressure on the lines to move the horses into position at loading docks. Jason will swing dock the horses, move the wagon along the rail, come to a stop, and talk to the horses to have them swing around to bring the back of the wagon up to the wall. Let’s listen to Jason as he works with his horses.  Jason will move the horse to the end of the arena and begin to move them into a circle, working them into a circle so small that the left rear wheel of the wagon will pivot in place, virtually spinning the top.
