There are several buildings at the Fairgrounds that are available to rent for special events, parties, family reunions, BBQ’s, weddings, etc. Check with the Fairgrounds Office for rates and schedules. There is a cleaning deposit required to reserve any building or facility. The Fairgrounds staff will determine the deposit amount, as well as the rental fee after receiving a completed Application. Applications are available at the bottom of this page.
Main Arena
The Arena is 150’ x 250’. The Main Grandstands can seat 1900 spectators. The East and West Bleachers can seat 510 each. This arena is used for major rodeos as well as many other activities.
West Arena
The Arena is 290’ x 150’. It is used for many different horse events.
Multi-Purpose Building
This Building is used for shows, expos, indoor rodeos, and riding. It is rented by the hour or the day. This Building is 120’ x 200’. Bathroom facilities are attached to the building. An 80’ x 165’ indoor arena can be set up with bleachers, chutes and concession stands for a complete show or rodeo. It is equipped with a sound room and announcer/timer booth with sound needs. A complete sound system can also be rented for your event. Corrals and alleyways are available.
OPEN RIDING PROGRAM
The Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds has Implemented a new Open Riding Membership Program. The program is based on 30 days of available open riding time. The costs for this program are:
Individual - $70.00
Family - $100.00
Membership Riding Times are Monday Thru Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
We plan on looking at expanding these times in the fall of 2007.

Exhibit Building #1
This is a 40’ x 120’ heated building. It has two storage rooms, a complete kitchen and two public bathrooms. The occupancy ratings is 346 people. This building is versatile and has been used for many events, ranging from dog classes to wedding receptions. It may also be used for dances, trade shows, cook-offs and meetings.
Exhibit Building #2
This is a 60’ x 152’ heated building. There are no public bathrooms. The occupancy rating is 499 people. It has been used for boat or RV shows, auctions, garage sales, larger meetings or gatherings.
Exhibit Building #3
This is a 35’ x 100’ heated building. There are not public bathrooms. The occupancy is 325 people. It has been used for wrestling, Junior Achievement, and other such events.
Annex Building #1
This is a 30’ x 30’ heated building with a large conference table in the middle of the room for 40-50 people. Perfect for your small meetings.
Annex Building #2
This is a 30’ x 45’ heated building with two public bathrooms and a complete kitchen (no supplies). Perfect for your larger meetings, receptions or parties. This room will fit up to 80 people.
Main Picnic Shelter
This is a 31’ x 48’ open shelter with a rock fireplace on the north side. The shelter is surrounded by playground equipment, picnic tables, and horse shoe pits. There is an open grass area for volleyball, softball, etc. An excellent family reunion or group gathering location. There are 7 picnic tables provided at no additional costs.
Rustic Shelter
This is a 31’x 48’ semi enclosed shelter with a fireplace and barbecue in the middle of the building. Good location for outdoor parties and BBQ’s.
Kiwanis Shelter
This is a 24’ x 42’ open shelter. This shelter is adjacent to a large open field and is excellent for many outdoor activities.
Stalls
All stall rentals come with one bag of shavings. Cost is $12.00 per stall per day or $75.00 per month. There is also a $5.00 per stall cleaning deposit to be prepaid and fully refundable if stall is cleaned upon departure.
